ETCC enters to the second half of the season

Already this weekend take the place on Salzburgring, Austria, fifth and sixth ETCC race
Salzburgring regularly hosted the ETCC in previous seasons. In the overall standings it is getting very interesting. Five drivers at the front is now within eight points and it certainly gives more attractivity to the fight for this year's ETCC title. We can expect that could "break bread" on Salzburgring.

„We can expect a difficult weekend. that's for sure. The track is rather similar to Monza, it suits well for front wheel drive cars and even the slightest advantage in engine power is important. The track has a one of the longest straights what i see and besides three classic bends there are two chicanes where FWD cars just should have a slight advantage. On the other hand, there is no doubt that we have chance to succeed with the constant performance and well chosen strategy. Of course, it will again be a bit uneven fight against the diesel SEAT, but I even more looking forward to it."
JOSEF KŘENEK
„During a short break we are racing in addition to routine inspections carried out and refurbishment of several parts. I believe that although we have not tested on Salzburgring, we will be able to build on the results from Slovakia. But it will not easy. Personally, I will arrive at the Salzburgring just in time for the Sunday program, because my weekend coincides with the round 2 of Bohemia Clio Cup. However, the ambition does not change, the guys are already playing together, plus we will be in connection."
